Indian Overseas Bank gets 1.73B rupees capital injection

The government of India injected 1.73 billion rupees into Indian Overseas Bank by way of a preferential allotment of equity shares.

The bank said Feb. 1 that it received the capital Jan. 31.

As of Feb. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 64.00 Indian rupees.
