Arcland Service Q3 profit climbs 6.1% YOY

Arcland Service Holdings Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to ¥14.06 per share, an increase of 6.2% from ¥13.24 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥447.5 million, a gain of 6.1% from ¥421.9 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 8.5% from 9.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 15.7% year over year to ¥5.27 billion from ¥4.55 billion, and total operating expenses rose 16.3% from the prior-year period to ¥4.54 billion from ¥3.90 billion.

Reported net income decreased year over year to ¥406.0 million, or ¥12.75 per share, from ¥417.0 million, or ¥13.08 per share.
