Legend Mining Ltd. said Feb. 19 that it will start the year's aircore drill program at the Area D region of its Rockford nickel project in Western Australia to follow up on anomalous nickel-copper results from two aircore holes drilled in November 2017.
The program will comprise about 8,000 meters of drilling in 100 holes, with broad-spaced drill traverses planned across additional aeromagnetic and gravity features at Area D.
Drilling is scheduled to start in March and is expected to take up to three months to complete. Results will be used in designing surveys that aim to identify conductors for further drill testing.
