Cypress Creek shakes up top management

Cypress Creek Renewables LLC on June 3 announced leadership changes, including the appointment of Sarah Slusser as CEO and a board member, to support the next stage of its growth.

Slusser is a partner at Point Reyes Energy Partners. She held senior roles at AES Corp. and also co-founded GeoGlobal Energy LLC, a geothermal company in the U.S., Chile and Germany.

Slusser succeeds Matthew McGovern. Michael Cohen also stepped down as president and principal.

As part of the changes, the company named Rebecca Cranna as interim COO and Kim Oster as interim chief strategy officer, according to a news release.

Cranna also is a partner at Point Reyes Energy Partners and was previously CFO for TerraForm Power Inc. and TerraForm Global Inc. Oster is a founding partner of Point Reyes Energy Partners and the former regional head and vice president at First Solar Inc.

In addition, the company named Ned Hall as board chairman. Hall, who was previously COO of general generation at AES, succeeds Ben Van de Bunt.
