Brazil's Banestes regains open market dealer accreditation

Banestes SA - Banco do Estado do Espírito Santo said it has been accredited as an open market dealer by Banco Central do Brasil, allowing it to perform operations with government securities effective Aug. 10.

Banestes in 2017 had revoked its open market dealer accreditation due to its "strategic positioning" and "the convenience and opportunities evaluated by the company."

Other accredited institutions include Banco Bradesco SA, Banco BTG Pactual SA, Banco do Brasil SA, Banco J.P. Morgan SA, Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social, Banco Safra SA, Banco Santander (Brasil) SA, Caixa Econômica Federal, Itaú Unibanco SA, Renascenca Distribuidora De Titulos E Valores Mobiliarios Ltda. and XP Investimentos Corretora de Câmbio Títulos e Valores Mobiliários SA.
