Kroll places certain debt ratings of Bank of the Ozarks Inc. on watch upgrade

Kroll Bond Rating Agency on May 30 placed its senior unsecured debt rating of BBB+ and subordinated debt rating of BBB for Bank of the Ozarks Inc. on watch upgrade.

The rating agency also affirmed the K2 short-term debt of the company, as well as the A- deposit, A- senior unsecured debt, BBB+ subordinated debt, K2 short-term deposit and K2 short-term debt of Bank of the Ozarks.

The company's strong management team, strong earnings, and overall conservative approach to business were cited by Kroll as factors that support its ratings.
