* Supriya Prakash Sen resigned as a director on Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd.'s board due to personal reasons.

* India's government named S.S. Mallikarjuna Rao managing director and CEO of Punjab National Bank.
* ANZ Bank New Zealand Ltd. intends to appoint Alison Gerry an independent director on its board, with the plan garnering a no-objection from New Zealand's central bank. Further, Bruce Macintyre will retire as chief risk officer of the bank before Christmas, with a replacement expected to be named by 2019-end along with a new CEO.
* Muthoot Finance Ltd. named P.P. George chief risk officer.
* China Development Financial Holding Corp.'s CDIB Capital Group unit appointed Koo John-Ynn board chairman and director, replacing Chang Chia-Juch, who stepped down from both roles.

* HSBC Holdings PLC will hire more than 600 staff for its Asia-Pacific wealth business by the end of 2022, Bloomberg reported, citing Kevin Martin, the banking group's regional head of retail banking and wealth management. According to the news platform, the focus of the hiring will be in Hong Kong, Singapore and China.
