Société Générale shuffles senior management in Switzerland, China

Société Générale SA appointed Anne Marion-Bouchacourt group country head for Switzerland and CEO of Société Générale Zurich Branch, effective Oct. 1.

Marion-Bouchacourt is replacing Hugues de La Marnierre, who will become CEO of Societe Generale (China) Ltd., pending Chinese regulatory approval. Pierre-Yves Bonnet will assume Marion-Bouchacourt's previous role as group country head for China and will also serve as acting CEO of SocGen China Ltd. during the transition period.

La Marnierre and Bonnet will be based in Beijing, with the former reporting to the latter, while Bonnet will report to Hikaru Ogata, CEO of Société Générale in Asia-Pacific.

Based in Zurich, Marion-Bouchacourt will continue as a member of the group management committee and report to Thierry d'Argent, head of coverage and investment banking.
