Hulu LLC said Jan. 8 that it ended 2018 with more than 25 million total subscribers across its subscription-on-demand and live TV plans in the U.S.
The streaming platform added 8 million subscribers in 2018; a 48% year-over-year increase.
Hulu's advertising revenue increased more than 45% to nearly $1.5 billion in 2018, and its advertiser base grew by 50%.
The company said the average time a subscriber spends on the streaming platform each month increased 20% in 2018.
Hulu's owners include Walt Disney Co., 21st Century Fox Inc., Comcast Corp.'s NBCUniversal Media LLC and AT&T Inc.'s WarnerMedia.
