Whiting Petroleum extends exchange offer for 6.625% senior notes due 2026

Whiting Petroleum Corp. extended its offer to exchange all of its outstanding, unregistered 6.625% senior notes due 2026 for new, registered 6.625% senior notes due 2026, according to July 5 news release.

Unless further extended by the company, the exchange offer will now expire at 5 p.m. ET on July 16.

Holders of approximately 90.65% of the outstanding principal of the original notes have tendered their original notes in the exchange offer.
