Encavis acquires majority stake in 14.1-MW solar park in Netherlands

Encavis AG acquired a majority interest in the 14.1-MW Zierikzee solar park in the Netherlands, according to a Jan. 14 news release.

The facility came online at the end of 2018, and its output is contracted under a 15-year power purchase agreement. The seller retained a 10% share in the project.

With the acquisition, Encavis' active generation capacity in the Netherlands totals roughly 106 MW.

"We have increased our presence in the Netherlands actively as scheduled and further enhanced the regional diversification of our portfolio. Furthermore, we were able to complete all of our Dutch PV parks that were acquired as 'ready to build'-projects on time and successfully connected them to the power grid," Encavis CEO Dierk Paskert said.
