Mérieux Equity Partners buys majority stake in food supplement maker Nutragroup

French investment firm Mérieux Equity Partners SAS paid an undisclosed sum to buy a majority stake in food supplement manufacturer Nutragroup.

The acquisition was made through Mérieux Participations 3, which targets health and nutrition enterprises.

Nutragroup founder Mehdi Boulahia and the management team will maintain a significant equity stake in the company.

The target company intends to boost its industrial investments, create new services and enter the European market through acquisitions.

SODICA Corporate Finance provided advice to the seller for the transaction.
