Amazon.com Inc. on June 8 disclosed plans to open its second fulfillment center in Oklahoma, less than two weeks after announcing its plan to open its first fulfillment facility in the state.
The more than 600,000-square-foot site will be in Tulsa and is expected to create 1,500 full-time jobs.
Amazon said employees at the planned site will pick, pack and ship small items to customers and will work alongside technology created by Amazon Robotics.
