Collegiate AC aims to raise £2B to expand European student housing portfolio

Collegiate AC is looking to bring in up to £2 billion to enlarge its student accommodation portfolio in Europe, IPE Real Assets reported.

The asset manager said it will use the proceeds to enter new markets and expand its footprint in existing geographies. Collegiate manages more than 20 developments across the U.K., Spain and Portugal, the report noted.

The schemes typically range from €35 million to €100 million in total development value, and the company is also looking for acquisition opportunities of standing and cash-generating assets, according to the report.
