The Auckland High Court has adjourned to Aug. 9 and 10 a hearing on the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's request to liquidate CBL Corp. Ltd. unit CBL Insurance Ltd., Interest.co.nz reported.
In February, CBL Insurance was placed into interim liquidation upon the central bank's request. The application was originally scheduled to be heard by the court on June 5 and 6, but the Reserve Bank requested that the hearing be moved to July 30.
A spokesperson said the central bank did not ask for the latest deferral, according to the report.
