J&J unit launches knee replacement system in US

DePuy Synthes, a part of Johnson & Johnson's medical device companies, launched the Attune Revision Knee System for knee replacements in the U.S.

The knee system consists of the Attune Gradius Curve, a solution for the unnatural sliding of the thigh bone on the shinbone, and Glideright Articulation, which allows the Attune Knee design to more accurately copy the normal movements of the kneecap and thigh bone in a native knee.

DePuy launched the product in the 2018 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting held in New Orleans.
