Banco do Brasil's board approves interest on own capital payment for Q1

Banco do Brasil SA's board approved interest on own capital amounting to 227.56 million Brazilian reais tied to its 2018 first-quarter results, according to a Feb. 26 statement from the lender.

The amount corresponds to about 8.17 centavos per share and is subject to tax withholding. It will be paid March 29 to shareholders of record as of March 13, Banco do Brasil said.

As of Feb. 23, US$1 was equivalent to 3.24 Brazilian reais.
