Norilsk Nickel signs 5-year US$2.5B facility

PJSC Norilsk Nickel Co. signed a 5-year, US$2.5 billion facility agreement with a syndicate of international financial institutions, it said Dec. 18.

The company, along with Russian mining majors En+ Group plc and SUEK LTD., recently pledged to invest over 580 billion Russian rubles for the sustainable development of the Krasnoyarsk region in Russia, where they all hold significant assets.

As of Dec. 1, US$1 was equivalent to 58.82 Russian rubles.
