Medigus director resigns; replacement named

Medigus Ltd. said Nissim Darvish resigned as a director, effective Feb. 22.

The Israeli medical device company said that Darvish's resignation was due to personal reasons and not due to any disagreements or company-related issues.

In connection with Darvish's resignation, Medigus appointed Yuval Yanai as a director to fill the vacancy, also effective Feb. 22. Yanai will serve as a director until the company's next annual general meeting of the shareholders.

Yanai currently serves as a director on several boards, including Mazor Robotics Ltd. and Check-Cap Ltd. He served as senior vice president and CFO of Given Imaging Ltd. from September 2005 through March 2014.
