WeWork to open new locations in Denver, Tampa, Fla.

WeWork Cos. Inc. signed separate leases for its 11th and second office locations in Denver and Tampa, Fla., respectively.

The Denver Business Journal said the coworking giant confirmed leasing the entire Junction23 warehouse, spanning more than 86,000 square feet in Denver's River North Art District. Recently converted to offer creative office space, the property will house 2,000 desks when it opens in the fourth quarter.

The location at 2323 Delgany St. in Denargo Market is WeWork's third office in the neighborhood. According to the March 25 report, EverWest Partners developed the building and Newmark Knight Frank brokered the lease agreement.

In Tampa, WeWork agreed to occupy 60,000 square feet in a 20-story tower at 501 E. Kennedy Blvd., which will be renamed WeWork Place, the Tampa Bay Business Journal reported, citing the company. The location, set to open in 2019, can accommodate 1,000 desks across the three floors leased from landlord Parkway Property Investments LLC.

WeWork worked with Commercial Florida Realty Partners and Cushman & Wakefield Inc. to execute the lease, the March 25 report added.
