Citigroup appoints country officer for Ireland

Citigroup Inc. appointed Cecilia Ronan country officer for Ireland in addition to her responsibilities as chief administration officer and executive of Citibank Europe Plc, The Irish Times reported.

Ronan will report to Zdenek Turek, who took on the role of Ireland country officer and CEO of Citibank Europe two years ago, according to the March 28 report.

In July 2017, Citigroup said it planned to expand its operations in Ireland.
