Industrial Bank chairman steps down

Industrial Bank Co. Ltd. said Sept. 4 that Gao Jianping stepped down as chairman, effective immediately, after reaching the age of retirement.

Gao joined the bank about 31 years ago and was appointed as chairman in 2000. The bank has yet to announce Gao's replacement.
