Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft Mbh signed a deal with Nordic project developer OX2 for the construction and asset transfer of the 43-MW Korkeakangas wind farm in Karstula, Finland.
The subsidy-free wind farm will consist of nine Nordex SE wind turbines and is expected to be commissioned in December 2021, according to a Jan. 9 news release from OX2. The project is expected to produce 140 GWh annually, enough to power approximately 28,000 homes.
OX2 will construct the wind farm under an engineering, procurement and construction contract and will also provide technical and commercial management of the facility once it starts operation.
