Capitol Guaranty selling unit to Glacier Capital

On Feb. 7, Capitol Guaranty Holding Corp. sold all of Capitol Insurance Co.'s issued common and preferred shares to Glacier Capital Holdings LLC, according to a statutory filing.

Glacier will assume control of Capitol Insurance after the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance approves the acquisition.

On Feb. 28, the unit terminated lease agreements with its parent, Capitol Guaranty. Capitol Insurance's satellite customer office in Harrisburg, Pa., will close, and the lease with MAGS Office Rentals LLC will also close.
