Young & Co.'s Brewery PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 29 amounted to 24 Great British pence per share, a gain of 15.5% from 21 pence per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £11.5 million, a gain of 15.7% from £9.9 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 7.8% year over year to £116.6 million from £108.2 million, and total operating expenses rose 6.5% on an annual basis to £95.3 million from £89.5 million.
Reported net income rose 8.9% on an annual basis to £14.7 million, or 30 pence per share, from £13.5 million, or 28 pence per share.
