Breaker Resources NL decided to undertake a strategic review of options to advance its Lake Roe gold project in Western Australia.
The company said Oct. 4 that the review was a result of several unsolicited inquiries from corporate and other entities.
Breaker Resources is putting an ongoing Lake Roe pre-feasibility study on hold pending the results of the review, which will consider partnering, funding and other asset initiatives. The company also plans more drilling, aiming to increase resources, which remain open in all directions.
Lake Roe hosts indicated and inferred resources totaling 23.2 million tonnes grading 1.3 g/t for 981,000 ounces of gold, according to a resource estimate updated in early September.
