Lookers plc said its full-year normalized net income amounted to 12 Great British pence per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 15 pence per share.
EPS rose 57.3% year over year from 8 pence.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £49.8 million, a gain of 58.3% from £31.4 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.2% from 0.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 19.2% on an annual basis to £4.09 billion from £3.43 billion, and total operating expenses rose 18.6% year over year to £3.99 billion from £3.37 billion.
Reported net income grew 76.2% on an annual basis to £72.0 million, or 18 pence per share, from £40.9 million, or 10 pence per share.
