Tay Two Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2014, came to a loss of 98 Japanese sen per share, compared with 16 sen per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥49.4 million, compared with income of ¥8.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 0.7% from 0.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 10.6% year over year to ¥7.23 billion from ¥8.09 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 9.4% from the prior-year period to ¥7.31 billion from ¥8.07 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥72.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.42 per share, compared to a loss of ¥13.0 million, or a loss of 26 sen per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Jan. 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥116.84.
