E-Life Mall Corp. said its normalized net income for the first quarter amounted to NT$1.55 per share, an increase of 39.9% from NT$1.11 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$155.5 million, a gain of 39.7% from NT$111.3 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 3.3% from 2.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 19.7% on an annual basis to NT$4.78 billion from NT$3.99 billion, and total operating expenses grew 18.4% from the prior-year period to NT$4.53 billion from NT$3.83 billion.
Reported net income rose 40.0% from the prior-year period to NT$206.1 million, or NT$2.06 per share, from NT$147.2 million, or NT$1.47 per share.
