DTE Energy Co. appointed Mark Stiers president and COO of the company's power and industrial group, replacing David Ruud, who was named senior vice president of corporate strategy and development.

Matthew Paul, currently vice president of plant operations for the company's electric generation, will succeed Stiers as president and COO of DTE Gas Co., according to a March 18 news release.

The company promoted JoAnn Chávez to senior vice president, deputy general counsel and chief tax officer, Joi Harris to senior vice president of major enterprise projects, Renee Tomina to vice president of gas operations, and Ryan Stowe to vice president of distribution operations.
