Dickson Concepts (International) fiscal H2 profit falls YOY

4236502 said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended March 31 came to 2 Hong Kong cents per share, a decline of 90.4% from 20 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was HK$7.6 million, a decline of 90.2% from HK$77.8 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 5.3% year over year to HK$2.29 billion from HK$2.41 billion, and total operating expenses fell year over year to HK$2.27 billion from HK$2.31 billion.

Reported net income decreased 79.1% year over year to HK$23.1 million, or 6 cents per share, from HK$110.8 million, or 29 cents per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled a loss of 18 cents per share, compared with 31 cents per share in the prior year.

Normalized net income was a loss of HK$67.9 million, compared with income of HK$117.7 million in the prior year.
