Report: Dairy company Lactalis signs 9-year renewables PPA with Engie

Groupe Lactalis SA has agreed to purchase 70 GWh of renewable energy per year from Engie SA under a nine-year contract. The power purchase agreement will enter into force on Jan. 1, 2021, Renewables Now reported Oct. 22.

Through the agreement, dairy company Lactalis will be able to cover at least 50% of its electricity demand in Spain, according to the report.
