Angola's central bank withdraws licenses of Banco Postal, Banco Mais

Banco Nacional de Angola withdrew the licenses of Banco Postal SA and Banco Mais SA after both lenders missed a 2018-end deadline to comply with new capital requirements, Reuters reported.

The central bank also said the two small lenders should be declared bankrupt and that their respective liquidators should see to the banks' customer deposits, employees and other obligations, according to the Jan. 4 report.
