Country Garden to issue US$1B of notes

Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. plans to issue US$1 billion of notes in two tranches.

The company will issue US$550.0 million of 5.125% notes due January 2027 and US$450.0 million of 5.625% notes due January 2030.

The net proceeds from the issuance will be used to refinance existing medium- to long-term offshore debt.

Morgan Stanley & Co. International and Goldman Sachs (Asia) are the joint global coordinators of the issuance. They are also joint lead managers and joint book runners alongside Standard Chartered Bank.
