Ardian is exclusively negotiating to buy a majority stake in Revima from fellow Paris-based private equity firm Argos Wityu.
Revima President Olivier Legrand and Argos will reinvest alongside Ardian.
The target company, which has locations in France, Asia, North America and the Middle East, was acquired by Argos in 2017. It provides commercial transport aircraft equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul services.
Ardian said it will help Revima expand its global footprint and expedite its commercial development. The firm added that Revima is developing an industrial site in Thailand that it expects to be operational in 2020, and is in exclusive talks for two acquisitions meant to bolster its skill sets in engine parts repair and advanced predictive maintenance, among other initiatives.
