Japan Real Estate Investment to issue ¥100B of bonds

Japan Real Estate Investment Corp. plans to issue up to ¥100 billion of domestic unsecured investment corporation bonds.

The Tokyo-based real estate investment trust will issue the bonds from May 15 to Nov. 30 in denominations of ¥100 million.

Proceeds from the issuance will go toward the acquisition of assets and related costs, as well as the repayment of loans and redemption of investment corporation bonds, among other things.

As of May 14, US$1 was equivalent to ¥109.61.
