Tenaska Pennsylvania Partners LLC on Sept. 3 said it closed on the retail syndication of the amended commercial financing for its 940-MW Tenaska Westmoreland Generating Station in Pennsylvania.
The facilities were reduced to $760 million from $780 million, and the maturity was extended by two years.
The combined-cycle facility, which started operations in December 2018, is situated in South Huntingdon Township, in Pennsylvania's Westmoreland County.
Tenaska Pennsylvania Partners is comprised of affiliates of Tenaska Energy Inc., Diamond Generating Corp. and J-POWER USA Investment Co. Ltd. Diamond Generating is a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Mitsubishi Corp. and J-POWER USA Investment is a unit of Electric Power Development Co. Ltd.
BNP Paribas acted as the syndication agent and also, along with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd., KEB Hana Bank and MUFG Union Bank NA, led the bank group for the amendment.
