Miyakoshi Holdings Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥2.55 per share, a decline of 60.5% from ¥6.45 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥39.6 million, a decline of 60.5% from ¥100.3 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 16.9% from 7.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined 83.5% on an annual basis to ¥235.0 million from ¥1.43 billion, and total operating expenses fell 90.8% on an annual basis to ¥116.0 million from ¥1.27 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥1.39 billion, or a loss of ¥89.16 per share, compared to income of ¥92.0 million, or ¥5.92 per share, in the prior-year period.
As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
