Total Telcom fiscal Q3 loss widens 32.0% YOY

Total Telcom Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 was a loss of C$42,450, compared with a loss of C$32,170 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 17.8% from negative 15.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 12.5% on an annual basis to C$238,390 from C$211,890, and total operating expenses climbed year over year to C$283,010 from C$273,000.

Reported net income totaled a loss of C$67,930, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of C$51,480, or a loss of 0 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
