Woolworths Supermarkets to pay small suppliers 2 weeks after delivery

Australian food retailer Woolworths Ltd. said April 12 that its supermarkets will pay small merchandise suppliers within 14 days of delivery starting July 1. These payment terms apply to companies with net sales to Woolworths of less than $1 million.

According to the retailer, small business suppliers of fresh foods are already being paid between seven and 14 days from delivery.
