Healthcare equipment company BIOLASE Inc. elected Elaine Wagner to serve as a director on the company's board.

Wagner is a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral with 33 of service.

She most recently served as the director of Readiness and Health at the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery in Falls Church, Virginia. Her period of service at this position was from 2014 to 2017.

Irvine, Calif.-based Biolase is a medical device company, which develops, manufactures and markets laser systems in dentistry and medicine.
