PTG Energy Q3 profit falls YOY

4913680 said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 4 satang per share, a decrease of 33.5% from 6 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 63.0 million baht, a decline of 33.5% from 94.7 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to 0.5% from 0.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined 5.0% year over year to 11.94 billion baht from 12.56 billion baht, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to 11.87 billion baht from 12.43 billion baht.

Reported net income fell 41.2% year over year to 68.9 million baht, or 4 satang per share, from 117.2 million baht, or 7 satang per share.
