Globeride Inc. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was a loss of ¥6.12 per share, compared with a loss of ¥4.46 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥70.4 million, compared with a loss of ¥51.3 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to negative 0.4% from negative 0.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose on an annual basis to ¥16.28 billion from ¥15.62 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 5.8% from the prior-year period to ¥16.54 billion from ¥15.63 billion.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥20.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.74 per share, compared to a loss of ¥67.0 million, or a loss of ¥5.83 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.90.
