Stride Gaming fiscal H1 profit climbs 46.3% YOY

Stride Gaming plc said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Feb. 29 was 3 Great British pence per share, a gain of 25.3% from 2 pence per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £1.4 million, a gain of 46.3% from £983,130 in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew 83.7% year over year to £21.6 million from £11.7 million, and total operating expenses increased on an annual basis to £19.0 million from £9.3 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of £52,830, or a loss of 0 pence per share, compared to income of £1.6 million, or 4 pence per share, in the prior-year period.
