Walmart, Buzzfeed's Tasty to offer shoppable recipes

Walmart Inc. and Buzzfeed Inc. on Aug. 19 unveiled Shoppable Recipes, a new feature for viewers of the online media company’s Tasty platform.

The program allows customers to instantly add all the needed ingredients in a Tasty recipe to their Walmart Online grocery carts through the Tasty iOS app.

Customers will be directed to the Walmart Grocery app or through Walmart’s Grocery website where they can view and purchase the contents of their cart.

Shoppers can either schedule their groceries for curbside pickup at their nearest Walmart store or have them delivered the same day.

The latest partnership comes over a year after Walmart and Buzzfeed partnered to offer a line of Tasty-branded products on Walmart.com and at Walmart stores.
