Northern Trust Asset Management appointed Scott Bennett head of quantitative research and client solutions for Australia and New Zealand.

Before taking on the newly created role at the Northern Trust Corp. division, Bennett worked for 14 years at global asset manager Russell Investments, where he was a director of equity strategy and research.

At Northern Trust, Bennett will be based in Melbourne.
