S&P Global Ratings revised its outlook on Mediacom Communications Corp. to positive from stable, and also affirmed all ratings on the company, including the BB corporate credit rating.
The outlook revision reflects the potential for continued improvement in credit metrics, as long as the company does not make a sizable acquisition or dividend, the rating agency said March 8.
The rating agency expects leverage will approach 3.0x by the end of 2018 from 3.5x in 2017, based on debt repayment and moderate earnings growth from growth in high-speed data and business services segments, which more than offset declines in video.
