Brynwood Partners exits frozen-pasta maker Joseph's Frozen Foods

Brynwood Partners Management LLC sold Joseph's Frozen Foods, formally known as Joseph's Pasta Co. Inc., to fellow lower-middle-market private equity firm LaSalle Capital Group LP.

Terms of the transaction, which was made via the Brynwood Partners VII LP fund, were not disclosed.

The Haverhill, Mass.-headquartered company manufactures and distributes frozen stuffed pasta and sauces for independent restaurants and national chains, as well as the food service, retail and industrial sectors.

Piper Jaffray & Co. was the investment adviser to Joseph's, while Holland & Knight LLP was its legal adviser.
