Northwestern Mutual makes management changes

Northwestern Mutual announced a set of promotions and appointments, effective Feb. 1.

Joann Eisenhart was promoted to executive vice president and assumed the new role of chief people officer, overseeing human resources, campus and event experiences, digital workplace corporate solutions, communications and strategic philanthropy and community relations.

John Grogan was elevated to executive vice president and will continue serving as head of insurance products and client services.

Raymond Manista was promoted to executive vice president and will assume the new role of chief legal officer. He will also remain secretary for the board of trustees.

Jeb Bentley was named executive officer and vice president of investment strategy, while Chris Gawart was appointed executive officer and promoted to vice president of law and general counsel.

Abim Kolawole was named executive officer and vice president of policy benefits, and Deborah Schultz was appointed executive officer and vice president of financial management.

Northwestern Mutual is the marketing name for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co.
