Aozora Bank declares fiscal-year dividend

Aozora Bank Ltd. declared a year-end dividend of ¥54 for the full year ended March 31.

The bank said May 14 that a 10-to-1 reverse stock split took effect Oct. 1, 2017, and as such, the dividend from before the stock consolidation cannot be directly compared with those after the consolidation.

On a pro forma basis, the bank's total dividend for the fiscal year comes to ¥184, down from ¥187 in the prior fiscal year.

Further, Aozora Bank forecasts a year-over-year decline in profit attributable to owners of the parent for the year ending March 31, 2019, to ¥43 billion, from ¥43.1 billion in the year ended March 31.

As of May 11, US$1 was equivalent to ¥109.40.
